Construction site requirements for rubber flooring

① It is forbidden to install at the site temperature below 10℃.

② All sub-floors must be dry, flat, crack-free, well-constructed, and clean. Free from dust, paint, paraffin, lubricating oil, grease, bitumen, rotting adhesives and other foreign impurities.

③ The rubber floor adopts seamless splicing, the splicing seams are straight, smooth and firmly bonded, and there is no obvious color difference in appearance.

④ All hardening treatments, quenching treatments and damaging compounds must only be removed by mechanical means.

⑤ The humidity of the bottom floor should be lower than 2.5%, and the bottom floor with humidity higher than 2.5% should not be recommended. If such humidity levels are higher than 2.5%, waterproofing should be done in accordance with industry standards.

⑥ Surface unevenness within 5 mm can be leveled with self-leveling after primer.

 

Construction preparation

The rubber floor should be moved to the construction site in advance to adapt to the site temperature for not less than 24 hours. When laying, it should be laid first, and the arrows on the back of the floor should be kept in the same direction, and then spliced ​​and cut according to the terrain and design plan.

 

Cleaning method

1. add 1 cup of fabric cleaner to each half of the water used for cleaning to make rubber floors look like they were freshly waxed.

2. using an all-purpose cleaner solution works well for cleaning rubber floors. We start by carefully reading the precautions on the product label, preferably testing in the corners of the floor before use.

3. remove the footprints on the rubber floor, you can use high-grade steel wool dipped in liquid floor wax. During the wiping process, gently wipe off the stains, and then dry them with a damp cloth.

4. always use a cleaner or dewaxer to remove accumulated wax.

5. solvent-based products can soften and destroy rubber floors.

6. do not wash the floor with water, too much water will make the adhesive of the floor fall off.
